We are seekers
of truth and knowledge

We search for answers in whatever form they may come. How difficult is the challenge? Only as difficult as the next step. We aim to uncover ancient wisdom and recover lost knowledge, so that we might discover new technologies. We believe that all truth, at all scales, is truth revealed by the Creator for life's flourishing and fulfillment.
I constantly sought knowledge and truth, and it became my belief that for gaining access to the effulgence and closeness to God, there is no better way than that of searching for truth and knowledge.

We are innovators and interlocutors across borders

We work across borders — interdisciplinary (in thought), interepochal (in time), and international (in space) — to discover new knowledge.  With a research portfolio that spans the interests of multiple agencies, including NSF, DARPA, NIH, DOE, and others, the Quantum Biology Lab thrives on new ideas and perspectives from across the spectrum of humanity.
We should not [believe] what our reason does not teach us to be true. Hence let us not be in a hurry to say it is false; we do not know whether it is true or false. Let us only say on this question: We do not believe this thing because we do not know it.

- The Treatise of Wäldä Heywåt, 17th century philosopher

We are committed
to the underserved

We believe that science is a social and human creation, intended for the benefit of all. Founded at a historically Black university, the Quantum Biology Lab desires that the fruits of cutting-edge research be shared by the communities most undervalued in American society.
The paradox of education is precisely this - that as one begins to become conscious one begins to examine the society in which he is being educated.

- James Baldwin, 20th century writer, public intellectual, and activist
